Consent & Fees
Therapy is a shared process grounded in understanding, choice, and mutual respect.
Informed Consent
Before beginning therapy, it is important that you understand the nature of the process, what to expect, and your rights as a client. Informed consent means that you are choosing to participate freely and with full awareness.
We will review the consent form together at the start of therapy and you are welcome to ask questions at any point about the process, boundaries, or approaches used.
Therapeutic Process
Therapy is a collaborative process. It may lead to increased awareness, insight, and relief, and at times may involve discomfort as difficult thoughts, emotions, or experiences are explored.
You have the right to pause, redirect, or discontinue therapy at any time.
My role is to provide a consistent, professional, and confidential environment in which this work can take place.
