Hello. Allow me to introduce myself.
I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia and a member of the Canadian Psychological Association. I completed my doctoral degree through the University of Alberta’s Counselling Psychology Program.
Growing up in West Kelowna established my innermost feeling of home, so it is with gratitude that I am now back in the area and offer services to a community so near and dear to my heart.
I offer services from a cognitive-behaviour approach with a specific and direct method that attempts to help clients neutralize, balance, and clear mental, emotional, and physical symptoms and/or reactions, and to help clients discover the underlying hidden order governing daily chaos.
I have experience working with all ages, including couples and families; with varying cultures, including First Nations; and with many different types of issues. I currently offer services to adults (18+).
I could list all the different conditions I have treated from anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, identity, and the like; however, what I am most interested in rests in the old adage: “teach a person to fish and they can feed themselves for a lifetime”. Since life inherently maintains challenges, my desire for clients is that they learn the strategies and skills to discover and stay connected to their sense of self and what is most important to them in order to cope with life’s challenges independently and with confidence.
